This ballet, set to Vivaldi's celebrated score, describes the four seasons in a man's life - from the exuberance and the vigor of youth in "Spring" to the resignation and compassion of old age in "Winter".
THE FOUR SEASONS features dancers from the National Ballet of Canada and stars Principal Dancer, Rex Harrington, who has garnered critical raves from the international press for his dynamic style, and his charismatic sensuality. The New York Times has labeled him the ultimate "matinee idol", and he has been compared to such superstars as dancer Rudolph Nureyev and screen actor James Dean.
The music is performed by Pinchas Zuckerman on solo violin with members of the National Arts Centre Orchestra.

"It's brilliant, sexy television...Here, the camera glides and slides in and around the dancers...You're left giddy with the colour and kinetics." The (Toronto) Globe and Mail
