The second installment of this ground-breaking BBC series was timed to coincide with the U.N. Conference on Population and Development in Cairo. With the guidance of Television Trust for the Environment, the BBC commissioned leading filmmakers from developing countries to create programs dealing with the interrelated issues of people, population, and migration from the perspective of those directly affected by these crises.
