JOURNEY is a spectacular dance fantasy that draws on the world of myth and fairy tale to tell an epic story in three parts. Part One, inspired by the myth of Demeter, traces the inward psychological journey of a Woman. Part Two presents the Male journey as a Ulyssian voyage across the waters to many islands of adventure and trial. Part Three is an exquisite pas de deux, danced with great passion by the hero and heroine.
The story unfolds exclusively through music, dance and imagery. It combines a variety of innovative movement styles, from classical ballet to scaling vertical rock faces, climbing giant nets, flying through the air on bungee cords, and dancing in a vast sea only two inches deep.
