The Trash Troll

Calls young kids to action on beach pollution.

"This program belongs in school libraries...Highly recommended." ***** Video Rating Guide for Libraries

An uplifting call to action for young students everywhere. A gruff, environmentally conscious gnome admonishes three children for carelessly littering his beach with a plastic six-pack ring.

He suggests they visit a nearby marine hospital to see for themselves the dangers that garbage can pose to ocean inhabitants. The hospital director shows birds, fish, and marine mammals all suffering from the effects of human pollution. When the newly educated children return to the beach and see someone littering, they put their new-found knowledge into action by spreading the word about beach litter - much to the delight of the now-proud Troll.
