The Lanza Sessions

Celebrates opera singer, Mario Lanza, and his music.

"A must for Lanza 's many fans and for anyone else who enjoys great singing." -Roger Hall, The Web Magazine

THE LANZA SESSIONS celebrates the musical legacy of the most popular operatic singer of the twentieth century. This program features fascinating archival material, interviews with those that knew him and wonderful performances by today's most talented artists who gather to re-create the songs of Mario Lanza.

THE LANZA SESSIONS takes a behind-the-scenes look at the recording of the musical soundtrack for the feature film about the life of the legendary tenor, Mario Lanza. World-renowned tenor, Richard Margison, portrays the voice of Mario Lanza. Also performing are soprano Cassandra Riddle, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and Australian film star Tom Burlinson ("The Man From Snowy River"), who portrays Lanza's close friend, Frank Sinatra.
